Clinical Director at Michigan’s Skywood Recovery addressed a national audience on building and sustaining behavioral health systems

About Dr. Lori Ryland
Dr. Ryland is a doctoral psychologist, board-certified behavior analyst, and a certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor. She has achieved certification from the Academy of Cognitive Therapy/Beck Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is trained in evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Contingency Management and Applied Behavior Analysis. Dr. Ryland has a broad scope of clinical experience including veterans with PTSD, inpatient psychiatric, addictions treatment, criminal justice, autism treatment, serious and persistent mental illness, intellectual and developmental disabilities, traditional outpatient services (individual, group, family) and psychological testing. Dr. Ryland has expertise in healthcare administration, including supervision of utilization management, provider network management, clinical quality, grant management and population health. She has been involved in numerous community and state-level initiatives including governor-appointed advisory positions such as Diversion Council and Behavioral Health Advisory Council, development of the Michigan Medicaid Autism benefit and implementation of numerous evidence-based practices throughout the state of Michigan. She currently serves as the Clinical Director at Skywood Recovery, a residential treatment center located in Augusta, Michigan that specializing in co-occurring disorders.
