Does Someone You Love Need an Intervention?
Are you not sure what the next step should be for helping your loved one with their substance use and mental health issues? At Foundations Recovery Network, we can help. For over 20 years, we have built relationships with seasoned professionals across the country who are committed to helping individuals with addiction and their loved ones navigate the path to recovery.
How Foundations can help with the intervention process
When your loved one has an addiction, it can leave you feeling confused, defeated, angry or frustrated. You want to help but aren’t sure how to go about it. And your emotions may get in the way. That’s why it’s helpful to have an objective, experienced professional come in who can communicate clearly and factually, providing an expert opinion and presenting treatment options in a focused way with more details and fewer distractions.
At Foundations, we work with a core group of professional interventionists hand-picked by us. They represent a variety of models, regions and price points, ensuring we have an interventionist that is right for every situation. We regularly review the interventionists we work with to make sure our select group of pros continues to meet our high standards.
Some can make the decision to seek treatment for addiction on their own, but others may find an intervention necessary to realize that they need help. An intervention involves planning, structure and well-meaning intentions – it’s not just telling someone they need to get help! The primary goal of the intervention process is simply breaking down barriers to treatment and talking with the addicted individual about the help he or she needs.
Intervention assistance is available from professionals who are trained in both giving interventions and teaching how to give interventions.
Admissions Process
Our admissions process involves four steps:
1. Basic assessment
Treatment is not one-size-fits-all. When you contact us the first thing we’ll do is ask you some specific questions to gather the information we need to make sure that our services are the best clinical fit for your individual needs. Getting you the most appropriate help and support is always our top priority.
2. Insurance check
For many individuals, insurance options can be complicated and frustrating to sort out. For this reason, we have a team of clinicians dedicated to reviewing your information and doing the legwork of determining what your insurance will cover and what potential out-of-pocket costs you could be facing.
3. We’ll discuss your options
By listening to your needs first and working with your insurance provider, we’ll personalize a plan specifically for you that offers the highest quality of treatment at the most affordable cost. We’ll walk you through the process step by step and answer any questions you may have so that you can be confident that you’re making the most informed decision possible.
Based on your assessment and insurance coverage, we’ll discuss where you can get the highest quality treatment for your needs at the most affordable cost. We’ll review all your options with you so you can be confident that you’re making the most informed decision possible when choosing the right facility.
4. Getting into treatment
Once we’ve determined the facility that will be the best fit for you, the next step is to schedule you for admission as soon as possible. The most common length of stay at the residential level is 30 days, but this can vary with each individual’s unique situation. If you’ll be traveling to treatment, we can assist with travel arrangements and booking a flight as well. We can also arrange for airport pick-ups, and we’ll make sure you get to our facility safely.
Once you have been admitted, your treatment will begin.
