JCAHO Accreditation

January 13, 2014 (Nashville, TN) – Foundations Recovery Network, a recognized leader in the field of integrated treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders, is proud to announce that La Paloma, its Memphis-based inpatient treatment center, has achieved Behavioral Health Care Accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

JCAHO is the national evaluation and certifying agency for nearly 20,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States, including hospitals, hospice services, nursing homes, laboratories, rehabilitation centers and behavioral health care organizations. The Joint Commission develops all its accreditation requirements in consultation with behavioral health care experts, providers, measurement experts, individuals and their families. Joint Commission accreditation and certification is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting predetermined performance standards.

“The Joint Commission accreditation validates the commitment to excellence that we all share at La Paloma,” says Paige Bottom, CEO of La Paloma. “Organizations that are awarded the Gold Seal of Approval(TM) are dedicated to continuous operational improvement and to providing care at a very high level.”

La Paloma offers comprehensive, evidence-based treatment for addiction and mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, pain issues, eating issues and psychological trauma. This full-service inpatient treatment center also provides medically managed detox services, intervention services and an active alumni program. La Paloma delivers outstanding care and has received high marks on the annual DDCAT (Dual Diagnosis Capability in Addiction Treatment) assessment every year since it was first assessed. Patients stepping down from residential treatment can attend the outpatient center at Foundations Memphis, which offers treatment education, process groups, individual and group therapy, stress management sessions, medication management and more.
