Black Bear Resort Property to Become the Company’s Fourth Residential Treatment Facility
November 17, 2013 (Nashville, Tenn.) – Foundations Recovery Network, a recognized leader in the field of integrated treatment for substance abuse and/or co-occurring mental health disorders, is proud to announce an acquisition of Black Bear Lodge, Suites and Cabins, from Mountain Springs Properties. The 50-acre resort property is located in Sautee, GA. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Foundations Recovery Network plans to substantially upgrade and repurpose the existing grounds and facilities in the coming months and re-open in Spring 2014 under the name Black Bear Lodge as a full-service residential treatment center. This acquisition marks a significant expansion in the company’s capacity for residential treatment.
“As our company continues to grow, this acquisition embodies our vision of combining innovative behavioral health treatment with top-notch hospitality services for the people we serve,” said Rob Waggener, CEO of Foundations Recovery Network. “Initially, this expansion is expected to add 85 beds to the company’s residential treatment capacity, and Black Bear Lodge will be the perfect complement to our existing residential and outpatient treatment facilities.
